Privacy Policy

Last updated: 14 October 2026

This explains what happens to your drawing and your contact details when you ask MindPal for a quote or book a meeting at FabTech 2026.

1. The short version

We collect only what is needed to analyse your file and send you a quote. We do not sell your data, we do not share your files for advertising, and you can ask us to delete everything at any time.

2. What we collect

From the quote form:

  • first name, last name, company, email address and phone number;
  • the file you upload — its name, size and contents;
  • the date and time you gave consent, and which version of these policies you agreed to.

From the booking widget:

  • the name, email, time zone, chosen slot and notes you enter there;
  • the confirmation and reminder records generated with the scheduling provider.

Automatically:

  • technical information such as IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and error or timing logs — used for security, troubleshooting and capacity planning.

3. Why we use it

  • To produce your quote — analysing the file and replying to you (pre-contractual steps and your consent);
  • To answer you and follow up on an enquiry (legitimate interest in talking to a prospective customer);
  • To schedule meetings and send reminders you asked for (your consent);
  • To improve accuracy — aggregated, limited analysis of how well drawings were interpreted (legitimate interest; you can object).

We do not make decisions about you by automated profiling, and we do not use your data for advertising elsewhere on the web.

4. Where your drawing goes

Your file is transmitted over an encrypted connection to our analysis service at fabtech.mindpal.co, where it is converted and read. It is kept while your quote is generated and reviewed, and afterwards only as long as needed to answer you and keep a record of the enquiry.

Drawings are not indexed publicly and are not open to other users. We do not train general models on your files without telling you first.

5. Who we share it with

  • cloud hosting and storage providers that run the infrastructure for us;
  • our CRM and scheduling provider, which operates the booking widget and stores bookings;
  • our drawing-analysis backend, which processes the file to produce the quote.

Each of them acts on our instructions, under contract, and only for the part of the job it performs. We may also disclose information where we are legally required to.

6. International transfers

Some providers host outside your country. Where that happens we rely on recognised safeguards such as standard contractual clauses, and we keep the transferred information to what the service actually needs.

7. How long we keep it

Contact records are kept while your enquiry is open and for a reasonable period afterwards so a colleague can pick it up. Uploaded files are retained for the shortest period that lets us stand behind a quote. Booking records follow the retention settings of the scheduling tool. When you ask us to delete your details, we remove them from live systems and then from backups on the normal backup cycle.

8. Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • tell you what we hold about you and give you a copy;
  • correct anything that is wrong, or delete it;
  • stop or restrict processing, or hand your data to someone else;
  • withdraw consent — including the consent ticked in the quote form — at any time.

Email privacy@mindpal.co and we will handle it without charging you. If you are unhappy with our answer you can complain to your data protection authority.

9. How we protect it

Data moves over TLS, access is limited to people who need it, and the quote tool is not publicly browsable. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so avoid sending anything marked as export-controlled or classified.

10. Cookies and tracking

This site does not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies of its own. The embedded booking widget can set cookies for its own scheduling and security purposes; those are controlled by that provider.

11. Children

The Service is a business tool and is not directed at anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect their information.

12. Changes and contact

We will update this page as the Service grows and will mark the date at the top. For any privacy question, or to exercise a right, contact privacy@mindpal.co — MindPal, FabTech 2026, Booth #N9553, Las Vegas.

This page explains our terms in plain language. It is not legal advice. If you need a supplier agreement, an NDA or a DPA before sending drawings, ask us and we will sign one.
