Terms of Service

Last updated: 14 October 2026

In short: your drawings stay yours, the quote we return is an estimate rather than a binding offer, and you do not need an account or a card to use the tool.

1. About these terms

These terms govern your access to and use of the MindPal website, drawing analysis and instant-quote tools (together, the “Service”). By uploading a file, submitting the contact form or booking a meeting you accept them. If you use the Service on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to accept them for that company.

2. Who we are

MindPal (“we”, “us”) builds AI-assisted quoting software for manufacturing shops. This site was published for our appearance at FabTech 2026, Booth #N9553, Las Vegas, 21–23 October 2026. Questions about these terms: legal@mindpal.co.

3. What the Service does

You upload a technical file or drawing — DXF, PDF, STEP or STP. Our software reads the file and returns an estimate of processes, features and cost where the file provides enough detail. The Service is offered as a demonstration and trial tool, and we may change how it works as it develops.

4. Your files

You keep all rights to everything you upload. You confirm that you own the files you send us or are entitled to submit them, and that they do not contain material you are not permitted to share.

You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, convert and analyse a file solely to produce your quote, to show it back to you, and to improve the accuracy of our analysis. We do not publish your drawings or use them to market anyone else's products.

5. Quotes are estimates, not offers

Output is an indicative estimate generated automatically from your drawing. It is not a binding offer, a contract, a firm price, a promised lead time or an engineering approval.

Have a person review any quote before you rely on it or pass it on to a customer. Final pricing depends on material availability, machine load, tolerances and finishing that a drawing alone cannot show.

6. No account and no payment required

The quote flow does not require registration or a card. If a paid plan is introduced later, its price and conditions will be shown to you before you subscribe, and will be governed by the pricing terms presented at that time.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • upload files you have no right to use, or that infringe someone else's rights;
  • submit another person's contact details without their knowledge;
  • attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse engineer or gain unauthorised access to the Service;
  • use the Service for any unlawful purpose, including export-controlled or prohibited items.

8. Booking and other third-party tools

Meeting slots are scheduled through an embedded third-party booking widget. When you use it, that provider's own terms and privacy policy also apply to what you type into it, and we receive the booking details it passes to us.

9. Availability and changes

We may update, suspend or withdraw the Service or any part of it, and we are not liable for interruptions or for quotes that were not saved. We may amend these terms; if a change materially affects you we will say so on this page, and continued use means the updated terms apply.

10. No warranty

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that quotes are accurate, complete, or fit for a particular manufacturing purpose.

11. Liability

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss — including lost profit, lost orders or lost production — and our total liability in connection with the Service is limited to the amounts you have paid us.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction to be confirmed], and the courts of that place have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
